Thought it was interesting that when '..the baker saw that the interpretation was favorable..' he asked Joseph for the interpretation. Makes me wonder if the baker knew it wasn't a good dream..

i like the summary bit. but helps if you list the passage in question in your post (I think Bereishit 40:16?). my translation states "the chamberlain of the bakers saw that he had interpreted well..." not "favorable." In Hebrew the word is "tov" or "good." Also, this passage seems to be 40:16 (parashat vayeishev) But I agree. I think the baker was scared to ask for an interpretation, and then only asked because the other interpretation was a positive one.
